A post that does not surprise me. The initiative to have a repository of PhD /other theses, will not be welcomed by universities. In most universities, specially now since the UGC has made it necessary for lecturers to have a PhD if they are to get their pay scales, people work for a about a month or two every year and after two or three years, get a PhD. The theses so produced will now be up for all to see!
